I spent most of the summer and fall of 2000 working on other projects - I started taking guitar lessons; I painted my room; I built a new computer to replace the one I'd been using (in various incarnations) since my junior year of high school, six and a half years earlier. Then, in the beginning of October, I was approached to do two skins at nearly the same time - one for the movie 'Little Nicky,' and this one, for music site Riffage.com.

It was an interesting challenge, as I'd never really done anything of quite this style before. The skin was produced in a course of a week of work split between this skin and the one for 'Little Nicky.'

Perhaps my favorite thing about the skin is the eccentric way in which inner portions of the skin overlap the orange border in places.

In December of 2000, Riffage.com ceased operations and closed their website, and so, since there's now nothing for the skin to advertise, I'm presenting a new unbranded version for download. I'll still be calling it 'Riffage' because that's as good a name as any.
