Download Pizza Hut

Shortly after completing 'Nemish,' I was approached with the opportunity to do commissioned work.
Pizza Hut was in the process of revising their 'look' - their logo, and all packaging materials were moving toward a painted look based on simple lines and bright colors.
I was sent samples of the new packaging and a ZIP disc containing the new logo, and was encouraged to just see what I came up with.
Basically what you see is what I produced. The only major difference is that, initially, there was not such a use of vegetables on the skin - the stop button was originally just a green square with black trim, like the other buttons. The window resizers on the playlist and minibrowser were just colored dabs of 'paint' instead of a piece of cheese and a mushroom. I don't mind the changes - in fact, I wish I'd been the one who came up with them. They give it more character.
My favorite elements of the skin are the EQ sliders, which look like each was an individual brushstroke rather than 11 identical copies, and the buttons on the playlist, which are each 'hand-drawn.'
A kind fellow named Kevin Lassley contacted me a few months after the skin's release - he knew the effect I'd tried (and sort of failed) to achieve in the volume slider, and took it upon himself to correct it. His fix is smooth and beautiful, and I include it with my gratitude.
